  2. Today, a 4th grader said that I’ll be a great mom. And I asked, why. (thinking, what does the know about being a mom?) She said because I make everything fun.

I guess kids do know more of what a kid would want than we do :)

  3. Out of nowhere, a little girl comes up and says, “That’s a hunger games braid.”

“Huh? What’s that? I’ve never watched it,” I replied.

“Oh, I’ve never watched it, but my sister did. You braid your hair when you win at the end of the game,” she said in her cute voice.

“Really? Like this?” I asked. She nods.

“Soo…I’m a WINNER?” I laughed. She gave a big smile as she nodded.

She made me smile with just one comment that she thought was a fact, but really has no idea what she’s really talking about. :D

  4. It started out with me playing with the little adorable first graders…we were playing tag, running around. But of course, I just kind of skipped and semi-ran. haha.

Randomly, a third grader I know comes and ask, “What are you doing?”

    I replied, “Playing tag, duh!”

She commented, “That’s childish…for your age.”

*gasp* I was appalled and amused at the same time. “WHAT?! Tag is an all ages! Pssh!” I declared.

Then she screamed, “I’m in!” as she started running as IT.

…childish is when you let others push your buttons…
